The heart of Luna Valiente is an eco-village consisting of 42 'sacred seed' pods that house about 100 community members. The architecture of the community is based on biomimicry (taking inspiration from the local natural environment) and biophilia (deep immersion with the natural world). The community has been planned and designed in collaboration with the award winning South African environmental designer and sustainable master planner Derek Chittenden of BlueGreen Planning + Design.
Community members come from all over the world and are free thinkers who have come together to co-create an alternative model to live, work and contribute. The community serves as volunteers and staff for the healing center, regenerative farm, the Institute of Regenerative Living and Tero Kuraĝa, the regenerative trading company based at Luna Valiente.
